Brandvis Ltd™ (“Brandvis™”) is committed to conducting its business in accordance with a high standard of business ethics and in compliance with all applicable laws.
While Brandvis™ recognizes that different cultural, legal and ethical systems exist in the countries in which merchandise may be manufactured, this Code of Conduct sets forth certain basic requirements that all facilities owned by Brandvis™ must satisfy.
Compliance with Laws and Workplace Regulations: Brandvis™ requires all manufacturing facilities to operate in conformance with the requirements of applicable law.
Forced Labor: The use of forced or compulsory labor is prohibited.
Child Labor: No person shall be employed under the age interfering with compulsory education, or under the minimum age for employment in the country of manufacture. In no event shall employment be permitted below age 16.
Harassment or Abuse: Corporal punishment or other forms of harassment, abuse or coercion, whether mental or physical, are strictly forbidden.
Compensation and Benefits: Brandvis™ requires that employees be fairly compensated by providing wages, including overtime pay, and benefits that satisfy all applicable laws and regulations.
Working Hours: Employees shall not be required to work hours (inclusive of overtime) in excess of
legally prescribed limits. Brandvis™ requires compliance with applicable laws that entitle employees to days off, vacation time, leave periods and holidays.
Discrimination: Discrimination in hiring, pay, promotions, discipline, termination or other terms and conditions of employment based on personal characteristics, beliefs or other legally protected criteria, is prohibited.
Health and Safety: Conditions throughout the facilities must be safe, clean and consistent with all applicable laws and regulations regarding health and safety.
Freedom of Association and Collective Bargaining: Brandvis™ recognizes and respects the right of employees to exercise their lawful rights of free association and collective bargaining.
Environment: Brandvis™ requires compliance with all local laws protecting the environment. In addition, business will be conducted in a manner that minimizes all waste and maximizes recycling.
Notice and Record Keeping: This Code of Conduct will be posted in a location accessible to all employees and visitors (in the appropriate language).
Enforcement: Brandvis™ employs internal, as well as third party auditors to ensure compliance with this code at all locations. They maintain detailed records of all facilities to determine compliance with this policy.
